Charm Necklace

I’ve always wanted a low hanging charm necklace with neat things on it.
So I made one, cuz that’s what i do.

I sanded down my piece of wood so that it was smooth and the grains shown well. I carried with piece of wood with me for a month while I was back packing in Costa Rica. The wood is dark and stained from sweat. Kinda gross, but mostly awesome.

I attached everything by wrapping it with copper wire. I had to get a little creative on the backing of the rose charm.

The clipon earrings were from my great grandma.

Then I fastened them to the chain which was from an old anchor necklace that I wore as costume jewelery.

Viola! I really love it!
